National Mill Store

You can find National Mill Store right on G T Road, just opposite the Jagraon Bridge. It is a very busy part of town and we have been right in the thick of it for many years. Because of the location, we get a lot of people just stopping by because they saw the sign while stuck in traffic. The shop is filled with various industrial supplies and mill parts that we have collected over time. It can be a bit overwhelming for someone who doesn't know what they are looking for, but we know where everything is kept. The old wooden shelves are bowed a little from the weight of all the metal bits. We spend a lot of time talking to customers about what they need for their factories or small shops. It’s a lot of talk about sizes and specifications. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with the traffic outside, but we are used to it by now. We don't really bother with fancy displays or anything; we just put the stock where it fits. My father used to run things here and he taught us everything about the trade. We just keep doing things the way they have always been done. It's a lot of manual inventory counting and making sure we don't run out of the basics.
