Our place is right near the Jagraon Bridge, not far from the Khurana Hotel. It’s a landmark everyone knows, so finding us isn’t usually too hard, though the traffic near the bridge can be a real headache sometimes. We deal in machinery supplies. The building is an older one, and it stays pretty cool inside even when the sun is beating down on the bridge outside. We have a lot of heavy items sitting around, so you have to watch your step when you walk in. Most of the time it’s just us and a couple of helpers moving things around. We don't have a website or anything like that, we just handle things face-to-face. People come in with questions about motors or belts, and we do our best to help them out from what we have in the warehouse. It’s a bit noisy with the trains and the cars going over the bridge constantly, but we don't even hear it anymore. We’ve got an old dog that hangs out near the entrance and sleeps most of the day. The paperwork is all done by hand in big ledgers because that’s how we’ve always done it. It’s a steady life and we’ve made a lot of friends in the trade over the years. We just keep the doors open and see who comes by with a machine problem that needs solving.
