N V Mills Store

Our shop is over on Link Road, right near the Palki Restaurant and across from Abrol Industries. If you know the area, you’ve probably walked past us a dozen times without thinking much of it. We keep a lot of stuff in stock for the mills and factories around here. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes because we have so many different types of spare parts and tools piled up on the shelves. The dust is something you just get used to when you’re dealing with hardware. Usually, it’s just me and a couple of other guys helping customers who need a specific belt or a bearing. We don’t really have a big fancy sign or anything. It’s mostly people coming in because they were at the restaurant or working across the street. We’ve stayed in this same spot for years. The traffic on Link Road can get pretty bad in the afternoons, so sometimes it’s a bit noisy. We open up early and stay until the sun goes down. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find a lot of talk, just people looking for what they need to get their machines running again. We keep a ledger for the regulars and try to remember where everything is hidden in the back. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it works for us and the people who come here. We don’t worry about much else.
