We are located on Samrala Road in the Hargobind Pura area. Our shop is in Street Number 5, and we are right opposite the truck union. Having the truck union across the street means there is always a lot of activity and a lot of dust. You can hear the engines idling and the drivers shouting to each other all day long. We deal with various enterprise supplies and general trading. Our space is basically a large warehouse with a small desk in the corner for the accounts. We spend a lot of time loading and unloading goods. It’s hard work, and it keeps us on our feet. The street outside is narrow, so when a big truck comes to deliver something, it blocks the whole way for a while. We have to be quick with the unloading so we don't upset the neighbors too much. It is a very practical business. We don't have a website or any fancy marketing stuff. People just know we are here because of the sign out front and the word of mouth in the local market. We drink a lot of tea to stay focused, especially when the weather is humid. Every evening we lock up the heavy metal shutters and head home, only to do it all over again the next morning. It’s a simple life, focused on moving stock and keeping the accounts straight in our ledgers.
