Mohikalan Agro Navkrishak Farmers Producer Company Limited is based out of Balbir Singh’s place in Mohi Kalan. Our location is near Rajpura in the Patiala district of Punjab. This is really just a collection of local farmers who decided to pool our resources together. Since we aren't experts at writing descriptions, this is just a plain explanation of what we do. Growing crops and taking care of the land is what our families have done for a long time. There’s a lot of dust and hard work involved, and nobody here has any fancy titles. When a tractor breaks, we fix it ourselves. If the rain doesn't come, we figure out how to water the plants another way. It's a very hands-on type of life for everyone here in Rajpura. Office meetings don't really happen; we mostly just talk over tea about what needs to be planted next. It’s honest work and it keeps us out in the fresh air, even when it's burning hot. A good group of people works here who just want to do their jobs and look after their families. Being part of a producer company helps us stay organized, but at the end of the day, we are still just farmers working the Punjab soil. Ups and downs of the seasons are something we've learned to deal with over the years. We are just a regular group of people trying to make things work out here in the village.
