Modern Electric Company

Modern Electric Company has been sitting here on Gill Road for many years, right across the street from the Punjab and Sind Bankibd branch. That bank is a helpful landmark because almost everyone in the area knows where it is. Our shop is packed with all sorts of electrical components like switches, rolls of wire, and breakers. It probably looks a bit messy to someone walking in for the first time, with boxes stacked up high, but we know exactly where everything is located. Most of our days are spent talking to contractors or local folks who need something specific to fix a problem at their house. We sell a lot of supplies for industrial setups too, since Gill Road is a big hub for all that kind of business. The dust coming off the road is a constant battle for us, and we are always having to wipe down the glass counters. It is a family-run kind of place. We don't have a fancy website or someone to do our marketing for us. If someone needs an electrical part, they just walk in and ask. We try to be helpful, though when it gets really busy, things can get a little hectic. We usually close up around 7 PM, unless there is a lot of inventory to count. It is just a standard electrical supply business that has stayed put while the street changed around it.
