Mithun Hair Saloon

Mithun Hair Saloon is right here on Mundian Chandigarh Road in Ludhiana. Being located near the Radha Swami Satsung Ghar means there is always someone walking or driving by our front door. Chandigarh Road is a busy spot to be in. We open up and start the day by cleaning our clippers and getting the towels ready. It is a very basic setup we have here. There are a couple of chairs and some mirrors that have been here for years. Most folks from the 141010 area stop in when they need a quick trim or a shave. The traffic on Chandigarh Road is almost always loud, but inside the shop, it is just the sound of the scissors. We do a lot of shaves for the regulars. Some of these guys have been coming to us since we first opened the shop. It is not a fancy place with air conditioning that works perfectly all the time, but we have a good ceiling fan that keeps the air moving. We do not spend money on big advertisements or anything like that. People find us because we are right on the main road and easy to see. Sometimes the guy from the tea stall next door brings us some hot chai. We talk about the weather or the local traffic issues while we work. It is just a simple way to make a living. The walls have some old posters of movie stars. We try to keep things practical for our customers.
