Lovely Embroidery Works

Our little shop is tucked away on G T Road, right near Mitha Bazar. If you know Prem Chand Nagar Road, you've probably walked past us a dozen times without thinking much of it. Inside, it's usually pretty noisy with the machines running all day long. We have thread everywhere, honestly. It’s hard to keep the floor clean when you’re working with so many different colors and spools. We’ve been doing embroidery here for quite some time now. Some days the power goes out and we just have to sit and wait, which is frustrating, but that’s just how things go around here. We handle all sorts of fabrics, and sometimes the thicker ones are a real pain to work with. My hands are usually a bit tired by the end of the day from handling the needles and adjusting the frames. We aren't a big factory or anything like that. It’s just us working through the piles of clothes that people bring in. It gets pretty cramped when we have a lot of orders piled up, but we manage to find a spot for everything eventually. The light in the shop isn't the best in the afternoons, so we have to use extra lamps to see the fine details. We just stick to what we know. It's steady work and it keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down.
