Louts Beauty Parlour

Being over here in Basti Jodhewal, specifically in New Subhash Nagar, things stay pretty lively. Louts Beauty Parlour is located right on Street No 2, in that B-31/8373 block. It is a bit of a walk from the main Basti Jhodewal area, but most of our ladies know exactly where to find us. Ludhiana is a city that never really sleeps, and this part of town is no different. The shop is small and practical. We have got our chairs and the usual tools for hair and skin. We see a lot of daughters coming in with their mothers, especially when there is a festival or a big family gathering coming up. It gets really crowded during those times, and we all have to work a bit faster to keep up with the demand. On regular days, it is much quieter. We spend time organizing the shelves or just talking about what’s happening in the neighborhood. The name on the board says Louts Beauty Parlour, and we’ve been here long enough that everyone just calls it the local spot. We don't have fancy lights or air conditioning that works all the time, but we keep the fans going. It is just a regular place for regular people. We do the work we know how to do and try to make sure the shop stays clean and welcoming for whoever walks through the door. We usually close up when the street lights come on.
