Lotey Machine Tools

Our shop, Lotey Machine Tools, is situated at 3158 Gill Radha Swami Road. It’s a place that’s always got the smell of oil and metal. I’ve been working here for years, and it feels like a second home now. We handle all sorts of machine tools, mostly for the local guys who run small units nearby. It isn't a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. The street outside can get pretty crowded, especially on market days. We started out small and stayed that way, which is fine by us. My hands are usually greasy by lunchtime, and that’s just part of the deal. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to wait around, which gives us a chance to talk to the neighbors. There’s a lot of history on Gill Radha Swami Road if you look for it. We don’t use any big words or try to act like we’re a huge corporation. It’s just us and the machines. Some of the tools we have are old, and some are newer, but they all serve a purpose. We try to keep things simple and get the work done right. If someone comes in with a problem, we look at it together and see what can be done. It’s a practical way to live. We’re just glad to have a roof over our heads and work to do every day. The noise of the road is just background music to our daily routine here.
