Lalson Mechanical Works

We set up Lalson Mechanical Works right here on B.R Street, specifically at the 6th Cross in Annepalya. If you know where Kapoor Hospital is, we are quite close to that. We are also tucked in behind the Purani Sabzi Mandi, so there is always a lot of activity with trucks and vendors nearby. The smell of vegetables and the noise of the market are just part of our daily life here. Our shop is a bit small, and we have crammed it with as many tools as we could fit. There is oil on the benches and the walls have seen a lot of years. We do mostly mechanical stuff, fixing parts or making small adjustments for people who drop by. It’s not a quiet place, especially when the heavy work starts in the afternoon. We have a couple of guys who have been with us for years, and they know where every single wrench is kept, even if it looks like a mess to anyone else. Sometimes the street gets blocked by a delivery truck, so we end up chatting with the drivers while they unload. It’s a busy neighborhood and we like being part of it. We don't have a big office or anything, just a desk in the corner covered in invoices and old tea stains. We just focus on the machines and getting through the list of things people brought in to be fixed. It keeps us moving.
