Khurana Light & Tent House

If you are walking down Sat Sang Road in Ludhiana, or even near Bhatar Road, you have probably passed by Khurana Light & Tent House. We have been setting up for weddings, religious gatherings, and local parties for as long as I can remember. It is a lot of physical labor, carrying heavy poles and huge rolls of fabric for the tents. Our storage space is usually packed to the ceiling with decorative lights, colorful drapes, and chairs that have seen better days but still work fine. When the wedding season hits, things get really chaotic around here. We are out at all hours of the night setting things up or taking them down after a party ends. It is tiring, but seeing the lights turned on at a big event makes it feel okay. We do not have a big office or a receptionist. Usually, someone just calls us or stops by the shop to talk about what they need for their function. We try to be fair and just do what we say we will do. Sometimes a bulb burns out or a tent peg gets stuck, but we fix it and move on to the next job. Ludhiana is a busy place, and there is always someone celebrating something. We are just the people who provide the background for those celebrations. Sat Sang Road is our home base and we like it that way because we know everyone in the neighborhood.
