Kay Em Kay Exports

Our business, Kay Em Kay Exports, is situated on Jaspal Banger Road. It is a fairly straightforward place to find once you get on the right stretch of road. The area around us is a mix of different types of businesses and some open spaces. During the rainy season, the road can get a bit muddy, but we manage. We spend our hours here dealing with the details of exporting. It’s a lot of double-checking numbers and making sure the labels are stuck on right. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture or decorations on the walls. Mostly, it’s just calendars and some old maps. The team here stays busy, but we always find time for a break in the afternoon when the tea seller comes around. It’s funny how you get used to the sounds of the road—the horns, the tractors, and the people passing by. We don’t really have a big sign out front that lights up or anything. People who need to find us usually know where we are. We like the pace of work here. It’s steady and keeps us on our toes without being too crazy. When things get busy, we all chip in to help with whatever needs doing, whether it’s filing or moving a few boxes around. It is a very honest way to spend the day. There is always a lot to do before we can close up the office and head home.
