K.D. Engineering Works

Our workshop is located in Baba Mukand Singh Nagar, just off the G T Road on Daba Road. It's an area with a lot of small industries and shops. We've been here for quite some time now. The building isn't much to look at, but we have all the machines we need inside. We focus on engineering jobs, mostly involving metal and mechanical repairs. There is always a lot of grease and the smell of cooling oil. We don't really do the whole office thing. Usually, you’ll find us on the shop floor. It’s a noisy place with the sound of grinding and welding going on. We get a lot of people from the G T Road area stopping by with things that need fixing. We’ve seen a lot of different machines come and go. Some days are slow, but usually, we have a backlog of work to get through. We don't use fancy terms to describe what we do. We just fix things and make parts. The local tea stall guy knows us well because we’re always there during breaks. It’s a tough environment, especially when the weather is bad, but we stick to it. We take our work seriously but we don’t act like we’re something we aren’t. Just a bunch of guys working with metal. Our spot in Baba Mukand Singh Nagar has seen a lot of projects come through the doors and we plan to keep it that way for years.
