Nexo Engineering Works

Nexo Engineering Works is right here in B-8-491 Naya Mohalla. We’ve been based in Lakkar Bazar, Erandwane for a long time now. It’s a busy spot. We do a lot of metal work, repairs, and making small parts for people. It gets pretty loud in the workshop when we're in the middle of a job. Sometimes we're a bit behind on the paperwork because we're too busy with the machines. It's just a small team of us here. People drop by with broken tools or blueprints they've drawn up. We try to get things done right the first time, but it’s hard work. The shop isn't fancy at all. There’s grease on the floors and tools scattered across the benches. We've seen the whole neighborhood change over the years. Some days are really long, especially when a big order comes in or one of our old machines decides to break down. We handle a bit of everything, from small welding jobs to making bigger components for local businesses. We don't have a big office, just a small desk in the corner piled with sketches. If you come by, you'll probably find us in our dirty overalls. It’s tough work, but we like fixing things that others might throw away. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to sit and wait, but that's part of life here. Most of our neighbors know us by name. We just keep our heads down and do the job. It's not glamorous, but it pays the bills.
