Sagar Engineering Works Unit No. 2

This is our second unit, located at number 419 in Industrial Area A. We are quite close to Cheema Chowk, which is a major landmark in this part of town. If you are around here, you know how busy the streets get with trucks and rickshaws. At Sagar Engineering Works Unit No. 2, we focus on the machining and heavy fabrication side of things. The building is a large shed with high ceilings to keep the heat from getting too trapped, though it still gets very warm in the summer. We have lathes, milling machines, and a lot of scrap metal piled in the corners. It’s a noisy environment with the sound of metal hitting metal and the hum of the motors. We don't have a fancy office; it’s just a desk near the entrance where we keep the logbooks and take calls. The floor is always a bit oily, so you have to watch your step. We’ve been running this unit for years, and most of our customers are other local businesses who need parts made to order. We don't do any big advertising. Word of mouth usually brings people in. We just focus on getting the dimensions right and finishing the jobs on time. It’s a basic, hardworking shop where we don't mind getting our hands dirty to get the work out the door.
