Juneja General Store

Juneja General Store is located at 181, Shivaji Nagar, right near Shastri School here in Ludhiana. Being so close to a school means we see a lot of kids running around during the break times or right after the final bell rings. They usually come in looking for small things, pens or maybe a snack. The shop is tucked into the neighborhood, and it has that old Shivaji Nagar feel to it. It’s a small space, so things are stacked everywhere. We have everything from household cleaners to basic spices and stationery. The walls are lined with wooden shelves that have seen better days, but they hold up the stock just fine. My day starts early, getting everything ready before the school crowd arrives. It can get pretty hectic in that small window of time. After that, it settles down into a rhythm of local residents coming by for their daily needs. We don't really do much in the way of big displays, mostly just keeping the essentials where they are easy to reach. The fans hum all day, and there is always a bit of chatter with the neighbors who stop by. It’s a simple life running a store like this. We know the regulars by name and which house they live in down the street. It’s just how things are in this part of Ludhiana. The winter mornings are cold, but once the sun comes out, it is fine.
