You can find us at Shop Number 1165/1 on Gill Road, right in the Miller Ganj area. It is a very crowded part of town with lots of cycle-rickshaws and trucks constantly moving around. We have been distributing goods from this same spot for many years. The shop itself isn’t very big, but we manage to fit a lot of stuff inside. It can feel like a bit of a maze sometimes with all the cardboard boxes stacked up to the ceiling. We spend a lot of our day on the telephone or talking to people who drop in to see what we have in stock. It is definitely not a quiet job. There is always someone coming in to pick up an order or a new delivery arriving that we have to count and organize. Miller Ganj has its own way of doing things and we are just one small part of that. We keep track of everything in our old ledgers and try to stay on top of the inventory. The walls probably need a new coat of paint, but we are usually too busy with the orders to worry about that. It is mostly about getting items from one place to another without having too much trouble. We drink a lot of tea while we work and chat with the regular delivery drivers who stop by. It’s a steady way to live and we know this street very well. We just stay focused on the orders.
