Our place is at C-146 in Focal Point, Phase-V, which is right near the Dry Port. It’s a noisy part of town because of all the trucks and the loading going on nearby. We’ve been operating out of this warehouse for a good bit now. It’s not a fancy place by any means. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint and the desk in the front office has seen better days. But it works for what we need. We handle imports and exports, so there are always boxes stacked up everywhere. Some days the paperwork is a mountain and we feel like we’ll never get through it. Other days, we’re just waiting for a shipment that’s been delayed at the port. We have a small crew and we all do a bit of everything. One minute I’m on the phone with a supplier and the next I’m helping move a pallet. That’s just the way it goes here. We don’t have a marketing department or a fancy website. We just know our business and we know our neighbors. The tea here is always hot, and the gate is usually open. We aren’t trying to change the world, just trying to make sure the goods get where they need to go without too much trouble. It’s a bit chaotic, but it’s our chaos. We just keep our heads down and get the shipping containers out.
