J.S Beauty Salon

We are located at 592-L on Icici Bank Road, right in the Model Town area of Ludhiana. Being near Tikona Park is nice because it’s a bit greener around here, even though the road itself is quite busy. J.S Beauty Salon is a place we’ve run for years. It’s not a very big shop, but we have enough room for the essentials. We mostly deal with hair and basic beauty treatments. The regulars come from the nearby blocks in Model Town. They usually walk over. I spend a lot of time cleaning the mirrors because they get smudgy pretty fast. The shop has a specific smell of hairspray and talcum powder that I’ve grown to like. We have a few chairs and a small bench for people to wait on. It’s usually pretty quiet in the mornings, but by the evening, things pick up. We don't have any fancy booking system, so if the chairs are full, you just have to wait a bit. We try to keep the magazines on the table updated, but they are usually a few months old. It’s just a standard local salon. We don’t try to be anything we are not. People come in, get their hair done, and leave. It’s a simple routine that we follow day after day. The ICICI bank nearby makes it easy for people to find us even if they haven't been here before.
