Our shop sits at 575 G.T. Road, right by the busy Dholewal Chowk. If you have ever driven through this part of town, you know the traffic and the constant noise. It’s one of those places where the trucks never seem to stop rumbling past the window. At J.P. Machine Tools Pvt. Ltd., we spend our time dealing with heavy iron and the smell of oil. The building is an old one that has stood through many hot summers and rainy seasons. Inside, it is packed with parts and equipment, and our hands are usually a bit greasy by noon. This isn't the kind of place where people wear fancy suits or ties. We mostly sit around a small wooden table for our morning tea and discuss what needs to get done for the day. Dholewal Chowk is a major landmark, so people never have trouble finding our location. Even the local tea stall guy knows our routine by heart. The workshop floor is always a bit crowded, and you have to watch your step around the machines. We don't have any mission statements or goals written on the walls. We just have shelves full of the things that local shop owners need to keep their own businesses running. The dust from the road is a constant battle, but that’s just life on the G.T. Road. We work hard, keep things simple, and get the orders out the door as fast as we can.
