Jaansheen Beauty Saloon

Jaansheen Beauty Saloon is located at Booth No 1, right opposite the Sarabha Nagar Thana in BRS Nagar. Being in G Block means we get a lot of people who are just living their daily lives in Ludhiana. The shop is small, being a booth, so things can feel a bit tight when there are more than two or three people waiting. We have our chairs set up and the usual shelves with various bottles and creams. It is a quiet spot for the most part, though you can hear the police vehicles and the traffic from the main road nearby. We get a mix of regulars who have been coming to this booth for years. They know exactly where to sit and they don't have to tell us what they want anymore. We spend a lot of time just drinking tea between customers and watching the world go by through the front window. The floor is tiled and we try to keep it swept, but hair has a way of hiding in the corners. It is a simple life running a saloon in BRS Nagar. We don't have any big advertisements or anything like that. People just know we are here across from the Thana. It is just a practical place to get a haircut or a shave without any fuss. We open up in the morning and stay until the evening, day after day.
