Insomnia Events

Our office is over in Model Town, Ludhiana, right across from the Krishna Charitable Hospital. The name Insomnia Events kind of came from the fact that we end up staying up late quite a bit when there is a show or a party happening. It's a busy line of work and things rarely go exactly to plan on the first try. We spend most of our time dealing with sound systems, lighting, and stage setups. Ludhiana has a lot of energy, so there is always something going on. We are a small team and we do a lot of the manual labor ourselves, like hauling gear or taping down cables. It’s not just sitting behind a desk. We talk to vendors, negotiate with caterers, and try to make sure the venue owners are happy too. The 141002 area is a good spot for us because we can get to different parts of the city quickly. We don't have a polished pitch or anything; we just tell people what we can do and then we go out and do it. Sometimes it's stressful when a speaker blows or a guest list changes at the last minute, but that is just how the event business goes. We’ve been at 503 R for a while now and most people in the neighborhood know where to find us if they need help with a function. It can be exhausting but we keep showing up every single day.
