Inderjit Auto Engineers

You can find us at Street Number 16 in Janta Nagar, at house 1531. Inderjit Auto Engineers has been sitting on this street for a long time. It’s not a big shop, just a small space where we work on engines and other car parts. It gets pretty loud when we start testing things, but the neighbors are used to it by now. There’s always a few cars parked outside waiting for their turn. My hands are usually covered in oil by ten in the morning and they stay that way until I go home. We don't have a receptionist or anyone like that. Usually, you just walk in and talk to whoever isn't under a car at that moment. We fix what we can and tell people if we can't. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning till night. The shop can get a bit cluttered with old parts and tools that haven't been put away yet. Sometimes we have to search for a specific wrench for ten minutes. It’s just the way things are when you’re busy. Janta Nagar is a lively place to work. There’s always someone stopping by for a chat or asking for a quick look at their engine. We do our best to help out everyone who comes through the door. It’s a simple life, working with machines and trying to make them run a bit better than they were before. We don't use computers to tell us what's wrong; we just listen to the engine.
