Hotel Nanda

You will find us at 15, Bhadaur House. It is a bit of an older building, but it does the job for anyone looking to stay in this part of the city. We don’t have a big fancy lobby with fountains or anything like that. There is just a desk where we check people in and a few chairs for waiting. My cousin usually handles the afternoon shift. We spend a lot of time making sure the plumbing is okay because these old pipes can be a bit temperamental sometimes. The rooms are plain. We put a bed, a small table, and a chair in each one. It’s mostly business people who come through. They want a place to sleep and a bathroom that works. We keep a few extra blankets in the cupboard for when the winter air gets chilly. If you need tea, we can usually get someone to bring it up to you from the kitchen. The street outside can get a bit crowded with parked cars and scooters, but that is just how Bhadaur House is. We don't try to be something we aren't. It’s just a basic hotel where you can put your bags down and rest. The 141008 area is quite active, so there is always something happening outside. We just keep our heads down and make sure the rooms are ready for whoever shows up next to stay with us.
