Hotel Brown

You can find us over at Gulab Mansion on Brown Road. It’s right on GK Temple Street, very close to the Subhani Building. We’ve been here in Ludhiana 141008 for quite some time now. Hotel Brown is a simple place to stay. We don't have any of those shiny elevators or big glass windows. It is just a solid building with rooms for rent. Most people who stay with us are here for work in the nearby markets or visiting the temple. We try to keep the place peaceful. The rooms have the basics—beds, a couple of chairs, and a bathroom. I spend most of my day at the entrance greeting people and making sure the cleaning gets done. It’s a bit of a maze in this part of town with all the narrow streets, but once you find us, it’s easy to get around. We don't have a big kitchen, so we mostly just suggest local spots for food, of which there are many nearby. The walls are painted a simple color and we try to keep the linens fresh. It’s a small operation, just a few of us working here to keep things going. We aren't a big chain, just a local hotel trying to do a decent job for the people who walk through our door. We’ve been here so long the building feels like part of us now and we know every creak in the floorboards. Most of the neighbors know us by name.
