Hi-Tech Engineers is tucked away at B-30 in Jiwan Nagar. If you know where RK Tyre is, we are right behind that, near Veer Place in Chandigarh. It’s a bit of a tight spot to get into sometimes, especially when delivery trucks are blocking the lane, but we like it here. We’ve been running this engineering shop for a good while. It started as a small operation and it stayed that way for the most part because we like being able to see everything that’s going on. The name sounds a bit modern, but the truth is we still use some old-school methods because they just work better for certain jobs. We do a lot of machining and repair work. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings by midday. Our guys aren't much for talking, they mostly just keep their heads down and work on the lathes or the milling machines. It’s a dusty, loud environment, but that’s just how it is in this line of work. We don’t have a fancy front office with air conditioning. If you come by, you’ll probably find us out on the floor. We try to fix things properly so people don’t have to come back twice for the same problem. It’s just us doing what we know how to do, day in and day out, making sure the measurements are right. It's not always perfect, but we try.
