We’ve been at 1519, 10 Street in Dashmesh Nagar for a good while now. Most people around Gill Road know the spot because of the constant noise of the machinery. It’s a busy area, with lots of dust and movement from the other workshops on this block. Inside our place, it’s mostly about getting the metal work done. We have some heavy machines running most of the day, and it can get pretty loud. The floors aren't always spotless, but that’s just what happens when you’re working with iron and steel all day long. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when a delivery truck pulls up in the narrow street outside, and we have to move things around to make room. My nephew helps out with the books, and we have a few guys who’ve been with us for years. They know the equipment better than anyone else. It’s not a fancy office or a corporate setup. We just show up in the morning, open the shutters, and get to it. Sometimes the tea guy comes by around eleven, and we take a quick break on the bench outside. We don't really do much in terms of advertising or sales pitches. People usually find us because they need something specific made or fixed. If you walk down 10 Street, you can't miss the sound of the grinders. It’s just honest, hard work. We try to keep things moving so customers aren't waiting too long for their orders to be ready.
