Harman Machine Tools

Harman Machine Tools is located at 192 Gill Karve Road in the Kothrud area. Kothrud has changed a lot over the years, getting much busier, but our shop stays pretty much the same. We deal with all sorts of machine tools, and the place is usually packed with gears, blades, and heavy iron parts. It’s not the cleanest shop you’ll ever see, but we know exactly where every single tool is kept. Most of the day is spent handling phone calls from people looking for specific parts or dealing with walk-ins who need something fixed right away. The traffic on Gill Karve Road can be a real headache, especially when we’re trying to get a delivery in, but we make it work. We have a couple of old fans that struggle against the heat, and there’s always a radio playing somewhere in the background, mostly just for some noise. We don’t use any fancy computer systems for our inventory; it’s mostly just notebooks and memory. The work is repetitive sometimes, but it’s what we know. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a shiny showroom. We just want to provide the tools that people need to get their own work done. It’s a practical business for practical people. We open up, we move the machines, and we go home. It’s as simple as that.
