Harjit Industries

The shop is located at 13618, St No. 7 in Parbhat Nagar. It is not too far from Dholewal, which is where most people know. Harjit Industries has been in this little street for quite some time. It is a narrow lane, so getting large vehicles in can be a bit of a pain. We mostly do metal work and machining inside. There is a lot of iron shavings on the floor by the end of the day. We try to sweep up, but it always comes back. The machines are old but they still run fine if you treat them right. We are just a group of local workers who show up and do the shift. There is no coffee machine or lobby here, just a small stool by the door. If it gets too hot, we open the big shutters to let a breeze in. Parbhat Nagar is a busy place with lots of small houses and workshops all mixed together. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day, kids playing and bikes zooming past. We just stay focused on what is on the bench. It is simple work, really. We make what people ask for and try to keep the neighbors happy by not making too much noise too late at night. The work is steady and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. It is just a basic factory life and we are okay with that.
