Gurmail Foundry & Machinery Works

Over here in Vishwakarma Town at 2650/6, things are usually pretty loud. That’s just the way it is with a foundry. Gurmail Foundry & Machinery Works has been a part of this industrial patch for a long time. We do a lot of casting and metal work, mostly for other businesses that need specific parts made. The heat from the furnace is no joke, especially in the summer months. You get used to the soot and the smell of hot metal after a while. We aren't a high-tech lab; it’s a lot of manual labor and heavy lifting. My clothes are always stained with something or other, and the floor is never really clean no matter how much we sweep. But we get the parts out. People bring us drawings or old broken pieces and ask if we can make a new one. We figure it out. It’s a lot of problem-solving on the fly. Some days the machines act up and we spend half the morning fixing them instead of working on orders. That's just part of the life. We don't have a sales team. Folks just know we're here and they bring their work to us. It’s a gritty job, but it’s what we know how to do. We just keep our heads down and finish the orders as they come in, one batch at a time, until the day is done.
