Gold Star Beauty Parlour & Boutique

Gold Star Beauty Parlour & Boutique is located in the Dakha Complex on Raikoat Road. We are in Mullanpur Dakha, which is a bit outside the main Ludhiana city area. This place is a bit different because we do both beauty work and boutique services like stitching suits. I spend half my time with a measuring tape and the other half with scissors or thread. The shop has racks with colorful fabrics on one side and the salon chairs on the other. It’s a bit of a juggle sometimes, going from sewing a sleeve to doing a facial, but it keeps the day interesting. Raikoat Road is always busy with people traveling between the towns, so we get customers from all over the area. The Dakha Complex is a well-known spot, so people don't usually have trouble finding us. I have a couple of sewing machines that make a constant clicking sound throughout the day. People come to us to get their outfits ready for weddings and then come back to get their hair and makeup done for the same event. It’s a practical setup for the local women. We don't have any polished mission statements or anything like that. We just focus on getting the stitching right and making sure the haircuts are straight. It’s a busy little shop and we like it that way.
