If you head over to 240 Industrial Area A near Cheema Chowk, you will find our shop, Ganpati Tools & Hardware Store. It is a busy spot and we have been here for quite some time now. The shelves are packed with all sorts of things like wrenches, hammers, and bolts that people need for their daily work. It’s often a bit messy because we are always pulling things down to show customers or restocking after a delivery. We try to keep things organized but in a hardware store, that’s easier said than done. The air usually smells like iron and cardboard boxes. We see a lot of local mechanics and builders coming through the doors throughout the day. Usually, one of us is standing behind the counter while the others are helping out in the aisles. We don't do much advertising; people just know we are here by the chowk. Sometimes we have to hunt through the back room to find an odd-sized fitting that someone requested. It is steady work and keeps us occupied from morning until we lock up at night. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that, just the physical store where we deal with people face to face. It feels good to be part of the industrial area and see the same familiar faces every week.
