G S Saini Enggineer Works

Down here at Sherpur Chowk on Focal Point Road, the sound of machinery is pretty much constant. Our workshop at 9091 is where we spend almost all our time, surrounded by tools and metal. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, as there’s usually some oil on the floor or iron filings on the benches, but that’s how a real engineering works should be. We’ve been fixing and making things here for a long time, and the local guys know they can just drop by when something breaks. We don’t really do fancy advertising or have a big sign out front. Most people just find us by the noise or by asking around the chowk. The work is tough on the hands and we often go home pretty tired, but it’s good to see something working again because of what we did. Focal Point is a busy industrial area, so there’s always trucks moving and people rushing about. We just stick to our corner and focus on the job at hand. Sometimes a project takes longer than we thought, or a machine part is hard to find, but we always figure it out eventually. We aren't corporate people with ties; we’re just workers who know our craft and enjoy the smell of grease and the sound of a motor running right at 9091 Focal Point Road.
