Fine Garden Product

Our shop, Fine Garden Product, is over on Hambran Road near Bharat Nagar Chowk. We’re tucked into Golden Avenue. It’s a place for people who actually like getting their hands dirty in the dirt. We carry a lot of different things for gardens, but it’s not like those big home centers where everything is plastic. We have stuff piled up, and sometimes you have to look a bit to find exactly what you want. The air usually smells like fertilizer or fresh mulch. We spend most of our time outside or in the shed out back. It’s just a few of us here, and we don't wear uniforms or anything like that. We know which plants grow well around here and what tools actually hold up after a few seasons of hard use. The traffic at Bharat Nagar Chowk can be a nightmare in the evenings, but during the day it’s not too bad. We aren't polished people; we usually have dirt under our fingernails and wear old boots. We just like plants and helping people grow things. We don't have a big mission statement. We just sell garden stuff and try to be helpful when someone’s tomatoes aren't doing well. It’s a simple life, and we wouldn't want to be anywhere else but here on Hambran Road. Sometimes the phone rings and we can't get to it because we're busy outside, but we always try to call back.
