Fairy Fresh Beauty Parlour & Training Centre

Fairy Fresh is down Gupta Karyana Store Wali Gali on Pakhowal Road. We are part of the Moti Bagh Colony in Ludhiana. Being a bit of a walk from the main road, everyone just looks for the grocery store at the corner to find us. This place is also a training centre, which means young girls are usually around learning how to do hair and makeup. It gets a bit crowded when five or six students are all practicing at once. Tables are set up for them, and then we have the main chairs for regular customers. On the walls, you’ll see charts showing different techniques. The air smells like hairspray and talcum powder most days. A small cooler stays in the corner and we fill it with ice during the summer because Ludhiana heat is no joke. The street outside is narrow and quiet compared to the main traffic. Sometimes neighborhood kids play cricket right in front of our door. They have to move whenever a customer walks by. It’s a friendly atmosphere here. We often share snacks and tea during the afternoon breaks. The students start out nervous but they get better with time. Having been in Moti Bagh for years, we’ve seen many girls go on to open their own spots. This is just a place for learning and working. We just keep things moving and try to stay cool in the heat.
