Xcel Exports

Our office is at No. 1859 on Street No. 12/3 in Dashmesh Nagar. If you know this part of the city, you know how tight the streets can get sometimes. We’ve been operating from this spot for a while now. Xcel Exports is basically just a few of us working together to manage shipments and talk to people from different places. We spend a lot of time on the phone or sitting at computers. The street gets pretty noisy in the afternoons when the local market picks up, but we’re used to it by now. It’s not the biggest space, but it fits our desks and the files we have to keep for the export side of things. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to sit around and wait for it to come back, which is a good time for tea. We don't have a big corporate team; it’s mostly just family and a couple of guys from the neighborhood who help out. We handle the paperwork, talk to the transport guys, and make sure the boxes are labeled correctly before they go out. It’s a lot of routine work, but it keeps us busy. We like being in Dashmesh Nagar because everything is close by. If we need a part or some lunch, we just walk down the street. It’s a normal way to earn a living without making things more complicated than they need to be.
