Our shop is out in Focal Point, specifically Phase-Iv, at E-287. If you know this area, you know it gets pretty dusty and loud with all the factories around us. Dalpat Forge has been operating out of this spot for a good bit of time. It’s a lot of heat and heavy work, honestly. Most days we are just busy with the hammers and making sure the metal is right. The floor is usually covered in some kind of grit, and we don't bother much with cleaning it until the end of the week. It gets really hot in the summer, so we keep the big doors open to catch whatever breeze comes through the industrial estate. We aren't big on paperwork, though we have a small desk tucked in the corner for that. Usually, you’ll find us near the back where the actual work happens. The tea stall nearby is where we spend our breaks. It’s a straightforward kind of place. We don’t have a fancy sign or a front desk. Most people who come here already know what we do. It’s hard work, and our hands are usually dirty, but that’s the nature of a forge. We just try to keep the machines running and get the orders ready when they are supposed to be. Sometimes the power goes out in the area, and we just sit outside and wait for it to come back on for a while. It is simple but it keeps us busy.
