Classic Beauty World is sitting at 103, Pakhwal Road in the Vishal Nagar area of Ludhiana. It’s a pretty decent spot, though the traffic on Pakhwal Road can be a real pain during rush hour. Most of our customers live right here in Vishal Nagar, so they just walk over or come on their scooters. The shop is kept simple. We have the usual mirrors, a couple of hair wash stations, and a shelf full of various creams and shampoos. It’s not a place with a lot of bells and whistles. We just focus on the work itself. I’ve spent many years in this trade, and I’ve seen styles come and go. People used to ask for very different things ten years ago compared to now. We just try to keep up with what folks want. The lighting inside is good, which is important when you’re doing fine work like threading. It gets a bit chilly in the winter here in Ludhiana, so we keep a small heater going to stay comfortable. There’s no big management team behind us, just a few of us working together every day. We know most of our regulars by name and we know how they like their hair done without them even asking. It’s a comfortable routine for us. We don't make big promises, we just do the job and hope to see the same faces again next month.
