Citizen Tea Corporation

Citizen Tea Corporation is over in the Jamalpur Civil Line area. We are located right by the Umar Masjid on Medical Road. It’s a good spot because everyone knows where the mosque is. Medical Road is always full of people, especially students and people going to the clinics nearby. Our shop is simple and functional. We don't have any decorations on the walls or fancy lights. We just have shelves and shelves of tea. Most of our day is spent weighing out tea for the people who walk in. We also handle larger orders for other businesses. It’s a lot of lifting and moving sacks around. We have a small back room where we keep most of the stock. Sometimes the traffic outside is so bad that the delivery trucks can't even get to the door. We just wait and have another cup of tea. We know most of our customers by their first names because they have been coming here for a long time. We aren't trying to be a big corporate chain. We just want to sell tea and run a decent shop. The calls for prayer from the masjid remind us of the time throughout the day. It’s a steady routine and we like it that way. We aren't looking to change much about how we do things.
