Choice Beauty Centre

Down in Simla Puri, Ludhiana, you’ll find our little shop. Choice Beauty Centre has been a part of this neighborhood for a long time now. We aren’t located on a main highway, so it’s mostly just the local residents who stop by. The place is quite simple inside. We have the basic equipment for hair and beauty work. I remember when we first opened, the walls were a different color, but we’ve painted them once or twice since then. It’s a small space, so things can get a bit cluttered with all the towels and bottles. We try to keep it organized, but when it’s busy, that’s hard to do. The street outside can be a bit dusty, so we keep the glass door closed most of the time. We have some regular customers who have been coming to us since they were kids. It’s nice to see them grow up and bring their own families in. We don’t do anything too fancy, just the regular cuts and styles that people ask for. Sometimes we run out of a certain shampoo or cream, and I have to go out and get more. It’s just the way things go when you run a small business. We don't have a big marketing plan; we just open the doors and do our work every day. It’s a quiet life in Simla Puri and we like it that way.
