Chawla Beauty Parlour

Chawla Beauty Parlour is tucked away on Sangla Shivala Road in Gulchaman Gali. This is an old part of Ludhiana, so the streets are narrow. We are located near Khera Laboratory. The shop is small and has been around for a good while. Inside, we have some partitions for privacy and a couple of chairs for hair work. It’s mostly women from the neighborhood who come in. We do basic things like eyebrow threading, hair oiling, and simple facials. The walls are painted a light color, but they could probably use a new coat soon. We have a lot of regular customers who have been coming since they were girls. Now they bring their own daughters. It’s a friendly place where everyone knows everyone else’s business. Sometimes we share tea while waiting for a hair color to set. The Gulchaman Gali area is always noisy with scooters and people walking. We don't have a big glass front or anything, just a simple door. We try to keep the place organized, but it gets messy when we are busy with several weddings at once. We use standard products that we buy from the local market. It’s just a humble parlor for the local ladies to visit. We don't try to be anything fancy, just a reliable place on Sangla Shivala Road. We keep a small stove in the back to make tea for ourselves and the customers.
