Charas Complete Beauty Parlour

Charas Complete Beauty Parlour is located at 1189/45 in Udam Singh Nagar. It is just a simple place in a residential part of Ludhiana where we’ve been operating for a good while. The room isn't very big, so we have to keep everything organized so we don't trip over the cords or the bags. I spend most of my day here, starting from the morning when I roll up the shutter. We do the usual things like waxing and hair cutting for the women who live in the streets nearby. Udam Singh Nagar is a quiet enough area compared to the main markets, but we still get a steady flow of people. Most of our customers are more like friends now because we’ve seen them so often over the years. We talk about the local news or the price of vegetables while I work on their hair. I don't go for fancy decorations or expensive lights because that’s not what people here are looking for. They just want a place that’s familiar and where the prices are fair. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that’s just how things are here. It’s a practical business and I run it as best as I can on my own. When the wedding season starts, I stay open a bit later into the evening to finish everyone’s orders. It is a simple life but it keeps me occupied.
