Birdi Machine Tools

You can find us over at 225 Gill Dashmesh Nagar. It’s a bit of a trek if you’re coming from the main city center, but we’ve been here for quite some time now. The workshop is mostly full of machine tools and big pieces of metal that are waiting to be worked on. It’s a bit dark inside because the windows are old, but we have enough light to see what we are doing. There’s always a bit of a hum from the motors running. Most of the time, we are just busy with the projects on the floor. We don't really have a front desk or anyone to greet you. You just walk in and find someone covered in iron filings. It’s a messy job, but someone has to do it. The neighborhood has changed a lot since we first set up here. There used to be fewer buildings, but now everything is built up. We’ve kept our place just the same though. Sometimes we have to move heavy equipment in and out, which can be a real pain on these narrow roads. But we make it work somehow. We aren't interested in being a big corporation. We just like making things and fixing machines. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. On Sundays, we finally get some peace and quiet away from the noise of the tools.
