Big Master Hair Saloon

Big Master Hair Saloon is located in Ludhiana, right at the CMC shop area. We are very close to CMC Hospital, so we get a lot of people who are either visiting the hospital or working there. The shop is small and simple. We have a couple of chairs and big mirrors that cover the wall. It’s a basic setup because we think that’s all you really need for a good haircut. The street outside is usually full of rickshaws and people walking toward the hospital gates. We started this place because we wanted to work for ourselves in a busy part of town. The winter in Ludhiana gets quite cold, so we keep the door shut then, but in the summer, the fans are always on. We do haircuts for men and kids. Nothing fancy, just the styles people ask for. The tools are kept in a drawer by the mirror, and we sharpen the blades regularly. We don’t spend money on big advertisements; people just see our sign when they walk past. It’s a lot of standing all day, but we like talking to the different people who come in. Some stay for a long chat, while others are in a hurry to get back to the hospital. We just provide a place to sit and get cleaned up. It's a humble business but it keeps us busy and connected to the people here in the Ludhiana market area. We keep it real.
