Bibek Overseas Private Limited

Our place is at 2861/5-20 in Mandi Fateh Singh, which is just inside the Chatiwind Gate in Amritsar. Being inside one of the old city gates means it’s always crowded and there is a lot of noise from the rickshaws and the street vendors. Bibek Overseas Private Limited operates from this busy Mandi, where the trade never seems to stop. It’s a very traditional market setting, and we have been part of it for quite some time. The office is small and packed with files and samples of the overseas products we deal with. We spend a lot of our time navigating the narrow lanes of the old city to get our goods moved out to the main roads. It’s a challenge sometimes, especially when the festivals are on and the streets are even more packed than usual. Amritsar is a city of trade, and Chatiwind Gate is a key part of that history. We don't have a website with fancy photos; we just have our office here where people come to do business face-to-face. The tea guy comes by every hour, and that’s usually when we take a small break from the overseas calls. It is a very grounded way to work, staying close to the roots of the city while dealing with the rest of the world. We just keep the business going as best as we can despite the chaos of the Mandi.
