Berina Beauty Zone

I set up Berina Beauty Zone here in Vishal Nagar quite a while back. We are right on Pakhowal Road, and if you know where the Vikas Karyana Store is, you can find us easily because we are just nearby. The shop is small but it stays busy most days with people from around Ludhiana coming in for their usual stuff. It is mostly me and a couple of others doing threading, haircuts, and face cleanups when the weather gets dusty outside. The chairs have some wear on them now but they are still comfortable for sitting. We usually have the radio playing some Punjabi songs in the background while we work. On Saturdays, the place gets a bit cramped with everyone wanting things done at the same time, but we just keep going. I try to keep the floors swept and the mirrors clean, though it’s hard with people walking in and out all day. We don't have fancy signs or anything like that. People just know us because we’ve been here in this spot for years. Sometimes we sit outside on the stools when there are no customers and watch the traffic go by on Pakhowal Road. It’s a lot of work staying on your feet all day, especially in the heat, but it’s what we do. Regulars come in and tell us about their kids or what they cooked for dinner. It’s just a normal neighborhood shop where things get done without any fuss.
