Barista Lavazza

If you head up to the second floor at Sarabha Nagar, that is where you will find us. Specifically, we are on 17th Cross, right near the 8th Main Road in MC Layout. It is a bit of a specific spot to find if you aren't local, but once you know where 30/31 C is, it is easy. The smell of coffee is pretty much constant in this building. We spend a lot of time cleaning the machines and making sure the grinders are set right. It is funny how much work goes into a single cup of coffee when you really think about it. The morning shift is always the busiest. People are in a huge hurry to get to work or wherever they are going. We try to keep things moving fast so nobody gets stuck waiting. The afternoon is a bit more relaxed. You get students or people working on their laptops. We have some regular spots where people like to sit every day. The windows look out over the street, so it is good for people-watching. Sometimes the delivery for the milk or the beans comes at the wrong time and we have to haul everything up to the second floor, which is a bit of a workout. We have been at this MC Layout location for a while now. The staff mostly lives nearby, so we know the shortcuts and which days the traffic is going to be bad.
