Babbu Electronics

We’re located on the North Main Road in Machhiwara, not too far from the main gate. Babbu Electronics is a small shop, but we try to keep it stocked with what people actually use every day. We handle things like TV repairs, fixing remotes, and sometimes working on bigger appliances if someone brings them in. The back room is filled with wires and circuit boards that I’m slowly going through. It’s a quiet town for the most part, but we get our fair share of customers when something breaks during a big game or a festival. I started this because I always liked taking things apart to see how they worked. Now, I spend my days putting them back together. The counter is usually covered in little screws and soldering irons. I try to be honest with people—if something isn't worth fixing, I tell them. There’s no point in wasting their money or my time. The light in the shop is a bit dim, which helps me see the little glowing bits on the boards better, I guess. We don't have any big sales or gimmicks. People just come in when their screen goes dark or their radio stops making sound. It’s a steady pace, and I like the people who stop by just to say hello or ask for a little bit of help with a gadget.
