This part of Ludhiana is always moving and shaking. Pakhowal Road is one of those places that is always crowded with cars, trucks, and scooters at every hour. Our office is in Vikas Nagar, which is a bit off the main road but it is still very busy. We do export work from here. Most of the time, the office is filled with the sound of the printer and people talking over each other. It gets a bit messy with all the samples and the piles of documents we have to keep track of. We are not trying to impress anyone with a shiny or expensive office. The floor is just plain concrete and the desks are made of old wood. It is a place for working, not for looking pretty for visitors. We spend a lot of time checking the shipping schedules for the exports. Ludhiana is the right place for this because so many things are manufactured right here in the city. We feel lucky to have a spot in Vikas Nagar. Sometimes we stay late into the night when a big shipment is finally going out. It is just how it goes in this business. We do not have any fancy missions.
